What is the Release Date for Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl?
Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl had its world premiere at the American Film Institute in October 2024, resulting in the flick receiving many positive reviews from top critics.
The public will soon be able to watch the movie themselves, as it will be broadcast on BBC One in the UK and Ireland on December 25, 2025. Also, it will be available to watch on BBC iPlayer.
Unfortunately, if you don’t live in the UK or Ireland, you’ll need to wait for the film to arrive on Netflix on January 3, 2025.
What’s the Plot?
As always, Wallace is busy with his latest invention, and Gromit soon becomes concerned that he has become too reliant on it. Unfortunately, his fears are realized when Wallace’s smart gnome develops a mind of its own, and Gromit will need to stop a vengeful figure from their past who is masterminding things. If he doesn’t, Wallace might never make another invention again.
Who is in the Voice Cast?
As Peter Sallis, who originally voiced Wallace, passed away in 2017, Ben Whitehead (Early Man) was cast in his first full film as the character in Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl. He has, however, been voicing Wallace in various commercials and video games since 2008.
As Gromit is predominantly silent, he doesn’t need a voice actor to play him.
Stand-up comedian Peter Kay will reprise his role as Chief Inspector Albert Mackintosh. He played the character in Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (2005).
Also, Diane Morgan (Motherhood) will play news reporter Onya Doorstep, and Reece Shearsmith (The World’s End) voices Norbot, Wallace’s smart gnome.
It is believed Adjoa Andoh (Bridgerton) and Lenny Henry (The Lenny Henry Show) will have cameo roles in the film, too.
What’s the Running Time?
Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl has a reported running time of 79 minutes.
