X Factor Italia will return to screens for its 18th season this September. As always, the upcoming series will offer plenty of entertainment, a rollercoaster of emotions, and, like most years, many surprises.
The judges will be on the hunt for Italy’s next superstar, who they hope will follow in the footsteps of past winners, such as Gio Sada (2015), Sofia Tornambene (2019), and last year’s winner Sarafine (2023).

When is X Factor Italia 2024?
The new season of X Factor Italia is scheduled to air on TV screens across Italy in September 2024.
The popular singing competition will arrive on Sky Uno, Sky Uno HD, and TV8. Also, you can live-stream the show on Sky Italia or catch up on Now TV.
The Sky Original show has a prime-time slot and will air weekly until it reaches the live shows.

Manuel Agnelli, Afterhours’ frontman, will return to the show for its 18th season, but will this time be flanked by some new faces.
The 58-year-old singer-songwriter, who has sporadically appeared as an X Factor judge since 2016, will be joined by Jake La Furia, an Italian rapper and record producer, Achille Lauro, an Italian singer and rapper, and Paola Iezzi, one-half of the duo Paola and Chiara.
With an almost brand-new lineup, much buzz is growing about what acts the judges will secure: The Boys, The Girls, The Groups, or 25+.
Also, fans are sure to debate who will be the winning mentor, as each judge will have their strengths and weaknesses, which will only be revealed once season 18 airs.
Michael Agnelli will ultimately have a point to prove, as he has never been a winning mentor, despite on-and-off appearances as a judge since 2016.
As he will be the most experienced judge in the seat, he is likely the favorite to be the winner’s mentor this year. However, you shouldn’t underestimate the caliber of the judging talent, as Ezzi, La Furia, and Lauro will likely be eager to earn a win during their first year on the show.
