As Billy Butcher embarked on a murderous rampage before running off with a Supe-killing virus, he’s likely eager to kill Homelander during season five. Also, Sage will likely move on to the second phase of the scheme, which nearly resulted in Homelander becoming president.
Season five is likely to provide an update on Ryan and A-Train, as their whereabouts are currently unknown. Plus, we’ll need to learn what happened after Frenchie fell victim to brainwashing in the final episode of season four.
Who Will Star in Season 5?
There hasn’t been an official announcement about who will return for season five of The Boys, but the main cast is expected to return.
For example, Jack Quaid will likely reprise his role as Hughie Campbell, and Karl Urban has confirmed he will return as Billy Butcher.
Also, Erin Moriarty will slip back into her role as Annie/Starlight, Laz Lanso is back as Mother’s Milk, and Antony Star will once again become Homelander.

Will Season 5 Be the Last?
Eric Kripke, The Boys’ showrunner, has confirmed season five will be the final installment.
It’s unlikely any amount of money or begging will change his mind, as he has often stated that the fifth season will be the last throughout the years.
Also, he recently announced the news to fans on X, stating, “Season 4 Premiere Week is a good time to announce: Season 5 will be the final season! Always my plan; I just had to be cagey till I got the final OK from Vought. Thrilled to bring the story to a gory, epic, moist climax.”
