According to the BBC, Doctor Who: Joy to the World will introduce Joy (Nicola Coughlan), who checks in as a guest at the Time Hotel in London only to find a secret doorway in her room. After opening the door, she discovers various dangers, dinosaurs, and the 15th Doctor.
As a deadly plan is set to unfold across Earth, it will be up to the Time Lord and his new friend, Joy, to save Christmas for everyone.
