Of course, this is a standalone film, but when it comes to bringing beloved comic book or fictional characters to life, it seems that X-Men movies never fail to impress. The last release of an X-Men movie that was as anticipated as the Deadpool Wolverine crossover, ‘The Dark Phoenix’, had an opening weekend, which pulled in $ 32,828,348. Then, there was the Deadpool 2 movie, which has an obvious link to the upcoming ‘Deadpool & Wolverine.’ Released in 2018, this movie shattered the box office on its opening weekend, pulling in $125,507,153. OK, so with this movie, there has been one heck of a build up!
Early screenings which took place on July 22, had the fans taking to social media.
