What is the Release Date for Season Two of Nobody Wants This?
While Netflix has yet to confirm a release date, the second season of Nobody Wants This is expected to premiere on the streaming platform in September 2025.
Filming is scheduled from January 2025 to April 2025, suggesting the series will be released in late 2025.
Who Will Appear in Season 2?
The main cast of Nobody Wants This is expected to return in season two. Kristen Bell (Frozen) and Adam Brody (The O.C.) will resume their roles as Joanne and Noah.
Justine Lupe (Succession) will reprise her role as Joanne’s sister Morgan, and Timothy Simons (Veep) is back as Noah’s goofy brother Sasha.
Many recurring characters are likely to return, too. For instance, Tovah Feldshuh (The Walking Dead) and Paul-Ben Victor (The Wire) will return as Noah and Sasha’s parents, Bina and Ilan.
Also, Stephanie Faracy (Sideways) is likely to return as Joanne and Morgan’s mother Lynn, and Jackie Tohn (The Boys) will slip back into the shoes of Sasha’s wife, Esther.
What Will Happen in the Second Season?
Nobody Wants This is likely to pick up where season one finished or close to it.
At the end of the season, Joanne backtracks about converting to Judaism after she discovers the responsibilities of becoming a Rabbi’s wife. After Joanne tells Noah, he seemingly chose her over being a Rabbi, as he chases her bus on foot to kiss her.
Erin Foster, the show’s creator, recently told indieWire, “The story in season one unfolds really slowly. And so, I think if there is a season two, I would want to just kind of pick up where we leave off and continue to take it slow because I don’t want us to get too far ahead of ourselves. I mean, I want my show to be on the air as long as possible.”
There are reports that Sasha and Morgan’s relationship is likely to become more platonic following criticism from some viewers during season one.
How Many Episodes Will Season Two Have?
The second season of Nobody Wants This is expected to have ten episodes, like season one.
Can I Watch an Official Trailer?
There currently isn’t an official trailer to watch. It will likely arrive on Netflix and YouTube closer to season two’s release date. Keep an eye out!
