Fans can expect season four to follow on from the season three cliffhanger. At the end of the final episode, Carmy receives a notification on his phone that the Chicago Tribune review of his new fine-dining restaurant, The Bear, has been published.
As a result, a flash of positive and negative comments appears on screen, making the audience unaware if the review he has received is bad or good.
However, viewers are speculating that the review is negative, as Carmy had a missed call from Uncle Jimmy, who had warned Carmy that a bad review would cause him to close the restaurant for good.
In addition to dealing with the outcome of the review, Carmy might mend his relationship with his ex-girlfriend Clare, or he might finally apologise to her face-to-face.
Also, season four may see Sydney leave the restaurant to pursue a new career at Chef Shapiro’s restaurant, as he attempted to poach her in season three, offering her more money, creative control, and health benefits.
