What is the Wednesday Season 2 Release Date?
According to Netflix’s official page, filming is already underway. Also, the streaming giant recently posted a cast photo on X with the caption, “Wednesday season 2 is NOW IN PRODUCTION.”
There isn’t an official release date for season two yet. Season one went into production in September 2021, ending in March 2022, and premiering on November 16, 2022. Should season two follow a similar schedule, it’s likely to drop in August or September 2025.
What to Expect in Season 2?
Wednesday Addams will continue her super sleuth antics at Nevermore Academy in season two. When the series was renewed in 2023, the announcement video promised more torture in the next installment.
Who Will Return to Season 2?
It has been confirmed that Jenna Ortega will return to the lead role as Wednesday.
Series regulars are expected to reprise their roles, too, such as Catherine Zeta-Jones (Morticia Addams), Luis Guzman (Gomez Addams), Isaac Ordonez (Pugsley Addams), Joy Sunday (Bianca Barclay), Emmay Myers (Enid Sinclair), Georgie Farmer (Ajax), Moosa Mostafa (Eugene), Victor Dorobantu (Thing), and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo (Deputy Ritchie Santiago).
Also, Fred Armisen (Uncle Fester) and Jamie McShane (Sheriff Donovan Galpin) are expected to return in guest star roles.

Many new series regulars will join season two of Wednesday. For instance, Steve Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire) will join the cast as Barry Dort.
