Stranger Things has been a hit with audiences in the United States and abroad, with fans on Rotten Tomatoes describing it as a mixture of heartwarming, scary and exciting.

The first season hit Netflix in July 2016, with the second and third seasons following in October 2017 and July 2019. The fourth season was released in two parts between May and July 2022, and the fifth (and reportedly) final season of Stranger Things is expected to be released in 2025.
It has been an extremely successful show! Ratings that have been provided by Symphony Advanced media have shown that in the first season, the first eight episodes make up the third most watched season on Netflix altogether, averaging 14.07 million views worldwide.

When Will Stranger Things 5 Be Released?
The last four episodes of season four were released on July 1, 2022. However, the production for season five was not rumored to have started until January 2024, leading many fans to assume that the release will not occur until 2025. The CEO of Netflix, Ted Sarandos, has also confirmed that it is not likely to hit Netflix until 2025. At the time of writing, it does not have an official release date.
As the last season of Stranger Things released the episodes in blocks on Netflix, many fans are curious as to whether season five will have a similar release schedule. However, this has neither been denied nor confirmed by Netflix. So, it is one of those ‘wait and see’ scenarios!
