Where and When Will The Grammy Awards 2025 be Held?
The Grammy Awards 2025 is expected to be held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California, on February 2, 2025.
It will be the 22nd time the ceremony has been hosted in the iconic venue, formerly known as The Staples Center.
Audiences can tune in to watch the 2025 Grammy Awards on CBS or stream it on Paramount+.
Who Will Host the Grammy Awards 2025?
The Recording Academy hasn’t announced a host for the Grammy Awards 2025 yet.
However, Trevor Noah has hosted the award show for four consecutive years from 2021 to 2024, meaning the Grammy Award-nominated comedian might be a natural choice to become the master of ceremonies.
What are the Grammy Awards 2025 Categories?
The Recording Academy recently announced various changes to the Grammy Awards’ various categories, and it has updated its eligibility rules.
For instance, Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical has made the switch from the Production, Engineering, Composition, and Arrangement field to the Pop & Dance/Electronic field.
Also, it is the first time in four years that the Recording Academy hasn’t added a new category.
The awards will be split into the following categories:

- Rock, Metal & Alternative
- R&B, Rap & Spoken Word Poetry
- Jazz, Traditional Pop, Contemporary Instrumental & Musical Theater

- Children’s, Comedy, Audio Book Narration & Storytelling, Visual Media & Music Video/Film
- Package, Note & Historical
- Production, Engineering, Composition & Arrangement
- Classical
Like every award show, there are more prestigious awards that many artists and bands will want to receive at the Grammy Awards 2025, such as Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist.
When are the Grammy Awards 2025 Nominees Announced?
The first round of voting is scheduled between October 4 and October 15, 2024, and the Recording Academy must choose the best recordings, artists, and compositions from September 16, 2023, to August 30, 2024.
Once they have made their decision, the nominees will be announced on the official Grammy YouTube channel via livestream on November 8, 2024.
A little over a month later, the Recording Academy will complete the final round of voting from December 12, 2024, to January 3, 2025.
